Overview
Colorado State University launched its first Global Campus in September 2008. Today, more than 1,000 students are actively pursuing their bachelor's or master's degree through this online education venue, with many more ready to start. The third campus within the CSU system, Global Campus offers real degrees designed to fit into students' real lives, providing the education needed to enhance their professional skills, earn promotions and meet the challenges of a career in the public or private sector. Ranging from business management to teaching and learning, each of the academic programs features extensive coursework into a specific discipline and skill sets that are immediately applicable.
Student Appeal
CSU Global Campus offers an 8-week course format and multiple start dates, enabling enrollees to start when the time is right for them and without having to wait until the degree's completion to see the results in their daily job. The 100% online programs do not require attendance at a physical campus, although the learning environment lets students interact with their classmates and instructor so they still feel a sense of community just as they would in a traditional classroom.
Financial
Federal Financial Aid is available for undergraduate and graduate students, including Federal Pell Grant Program and subsidized/unsubsidized Stafford Loan. CSU Global Campus also offers access to educational benefits for military students, including spouses and dependents. In addition, there are scholarship opportunities to help students achieve their educational goals.
