Overview
Richland Community College has been offering classes to students in its community since 1972. In the past ten years alone the school has expanded to include an Industrial Technology Center, the Schrodt Health Education Center, the Adele P. Gleen Academy for Early Childhood Education, a Fitness Center, and the Dwayne O. Andreas Agribusiness Education Center. Each year it is expanding its services and faculty to best serve its approximately 3000 students. The school offers both Career & Technical Education options and Baccalaureate transfer options.
Student Appeal
Attending Richland to complete the first two years of a students' education means that that student will spend considerably less money in tuition dollars as compared to students who attend four years of University. Richland allows students the chance to complete their general education requirements in a smaller, inexpensive school setting. Richland also provides students with many academic and career support resources that will help them succeed in school and after graduation.
