Overview
Founded in 1928, Spartan College of Aeronautics and Technology in Tulsa, Oklahoma has been dedicated to training company employees and government organizations in several different aviation disciplines. The college has trained individuals from the US Army and Air Forces and the Royal Air Force of Great Britain, and has developed pilot courses for other countries and organizations, too. The United State Air Force recently chose Spartan as its flight-training partner for the Coalition Air Force. Since its founding, Spartan College has trained more than 90,000 qualified individuals, offering a number of aviation-related courses as well as Associate and Bachelor of Science degrees.
Student Appeal
Spartan College is not only a place where students can learn about aviation, it is also a historical organization with roots extending back eighty years. The college was involved in training World War II pilots and has provided its services to airlines and other organizations around the world. Spartan College's appeal also lies in its industry-current campus located in Tulsa, with a fleet of around fifty aircraft, fixed-wing craft, and flight simulators. The college provides training that is focused and industry-specific, to give students the best education in their specialty field. Spartan's diploma programs can be completed in as few as 12 months and its associate programs can be completed in as little as 18 months.
Financial
Spartan College's Financial Aid Department can assist qualified students in finding supplemental funding to help them meet the cost of training. Financial aid is provided for qualified students who need financial assistance to be able to attend the college. Financial aid may include federal loans and private loans or grants. In short, you will be able to develop, maintain, and enforce quality control programs.

As technology advances so does the need for certified avionics technicians. Spartan will take you through intense electronics technician core classes that can give you the state-of-the-industry knowledge and skills required to specialize in aviation electronics (avionics).

The Nondestructive Testing (NDT) program at Spartan is a diploma program in nondestructive testing that offers you a short training time and high job demand!
