The University of Oklahoma is the largest university in the State of Oklahoma, and is considered a major research university. It enrolls nearly 10,000 graduate students, most of whom participate in some sort of research, in addition to its 20,000+ undergraduate students. Departments within the school include the Colleges of Architecture, Arts & Sciences, Atmospheric & Geographic Sciences, Business, Earth and Energy, Education, Engineering, Fine Arts, International Studies, Journalism and Mass Communication, Law, Liberal Studies, and Continuing Education. It also houses a standout Honors College and a noted Military Training Program. The Health Sciences Center is one of the largest in the Midwest.
